In the summer of 2025, my buddy Nick and I took one of my favorite trips yet. We took off from North Carolina and set our sights on Ellijay Georgia where we entered the Chattahoochee National Forest. We made our way though North Georgia and into Tennessee. After two nights in TN, we crossed the state line into North Carolina on a gravel road and landed in the Nantahala National Forest. We eventually exited Nantahala and made our way to an awesome camp near Maggie Valley, NC. This was my first time camping at over a mile of elevation. Video of the trip below!
