Bubs came to the realization that the rear driveshaft universal joints on the Buschmobile were haggard. We went to the local parts house in search of replacements. The offerings they had were low quality and high price! Bub’s wasn’t having it. I reminded him that I had some new-ish u-joints in a spare driveshaft. Brand used parts! The sales associate was NOT enthused at the prospect of installing used ujoints. Bubs was!
Armed with a case of beer and bad intentions, we set off to work. Brand used 1310 series joints were removed from my spare C8.25 shaft and installed in Bubs’ D35C propshaft where they are still in service to this day.
